So there I was sitting at my dad's desk talking to my brother about my stash of CHEESE and SUGAR when he randomly says TWINKIES.

Books!

Hola amigos! I went to MacKays and got a deluxe edition of Christopher Polini's Brisingr as well as a Dear America book, the fourth Pendragon book and a Mass Effect book based off the computer game...or vise versa I'm not sure which. Any way I'll be reading a lot for a while so I can finish Brisingr and the third Pendragon book then get to work on the fourth Pendragon book.

Facts

Some interesting facts about the book Inheritance I found out from Shurturgal.com All of them come from a Q&A with the writer.

• “I never wanted to be a writer – I wanted to be doing what my characters were doing. I wanted to be fighting stuff!”
• Christopher originally wanted to make a movie out of the story of Eragon. It was only after he realized that creating a movie at 15 was nearly impossible that he decided to take to pen and paper to tell his tale.
• The personalities for each of the Cycle’s dragons are largely pulled from the family pets Christopher grew up with.
• Christopher counts Wizard of Earth Sea, Ender’s Game, Dune, Tad Williams, Lord of the Rings, and Mossflower as being among the authors and books to have influenced him the most at an early age.
• We’re going to see a LOT more of Murtagh in Book 4, and fans “will be happy”!

• Angela the herbalist has “taken over” several scenes in Book 4 and will be featured in one “very awesome” scene.
• Angela was originally included as a joke character during a second pass on the Eragon manuscript. Her success with fans came as a surprise because of that.

• Michelle, Christopher’s editor: “It’s the best one yet, you brought me to tears!” CP: “I killed a couple of characters – sorry!”
• The first chapter of book four is called “Into the Breach”
• The two mysterious women blessed by Eragon in Brisingr will re-appear in Book 4, however they are also intended to be a part of a much larger story in the future… a possible Book 5. Christopher hopes to tell this story in the future.

Jabbo is more trouble than he's worth! When we first got him he was a nice dog and we were fine with him. Recently however he's been nothing but trouble! If he's chained up he won't be quiet and if he's not chained up he gets out of the yard 50 million times in one day. Any way enough complaining day two of VBS went well. Still figuring out time problems but that doesn't cause me any problems since I'm sound and lighting. Yea I'm the techy. *Crooked smile* Anyway I got a cupcake. IT WAS GOOD!!!! Alea came over yesterday and we played a game. Don't ask about the game it's really wierd. Let's just say it was two young (20ish) girls living alone during the great depression. Well that's it.






wait one more thing. Blankey er Blakney and Irvine graduated high school yesterday! Congrats to them!!! YAY!!!!

I'm running out of titles...maybe I'll stop titleing them unless theres something special. Anyway Today wasn't normal. I went to lunch with my dad then to fugats to shot the guns. I shot the 22 and the 32. i wouldve shot the rifle but i wasnt conformable with it. tho honestly I'd prefer a bow and arrows to a gun any day. Don't bother asking why, i just do. The softball game we won 17-18. It was matched pretty well so that mixed with the cold made it to hard to read. Our team didn't have any one best player over all the other team however was the pretty boy. No idea who he was but he's a good softball player and even with his skill he lost. I've got pics but they arent uploaded yet. I also got to go to Books-a-Million the other day. I got the second and third 39 clues books along with a card pack and the third Pendragon book. The day before that I got the Red Pyramid, the first of three books in the Kane Chronicles. I almost got some other books but I'm gonna ask a friend who's read them before buying them. The next Inheritance book comes out November 8th this year. The Son of Neptune comes out October 4th this year. There's more books that I want that aren't out yet but im not sure when they come out or what the titles are sorry. I did sit in walmart in the books section for a while reading the 7th 39 clues book since i wasnt interested in getting grocerys. i woulda bought somethin' but i left my wallet at home. idiot me. Oh well. knowing me i can probably find somewhere online to read the 39 clues but i still gotta buy them for the cards. Tho I'm mad cuz the card pack had cards about the man in black but someone stole them!!!!! I also finished two books today and am working on a third but i doubt I'll finish it. but anyway so far Bluestorm the third Pendragon book is cool!

Wednesday

 Before i get to the story i have to say I thought i posted this a long time ago. I was looking through all my posts (drafts and posted) and saw this and was like "What the..." cuz i was sure it had been posted already so sorry but here it is!




No I didnt' go on a trip. I just went to and airport to help them with a training exercise. My part was simple. Lay on the cold wet runway while strange people I don't know run around and strap me down to a blue board and carry me around. It wasn't all that bad really. For forever I just stood around outside on the runway since we couldn't sit/lay down yet otherwise we might have ended up with hypothermia (wow i spelled that right I'm amazed.). Finally we got down on the ground and had all these people running around us and doing stuff to us. It was rather awkward cuz you had to just do whatever they said. It was really annoying when they put they neck brace on cuz they I was stuck looking at the sky...which hurt. Luckily I wasn't in it long. After we got done with that we went back to the squadron for the debrief and to wait for peoples ride's. In the end we went out to lunch. It was me, my mom, my bro along with the Blantons, the Landrums as well as Garvey and his mom and Davis and his mom and sis. We went to Amigos. It was good tho I don't really like mexican food. No offense to mexicans. You guys rock! Then we went home for a few minutes. After those few minutes we left to get Dave signed up for softball. After that we ate dinner and went to church. At first it was a normal day at church. The teens watched a movie. I was gonna stay with 'em but then I saw Bobby. He's a guy I know from Ohio. Him and his family moved down here last year I think. But they had to move back. I honestly don't get along with Bobby but I get along with his sister Brooke. That's why I'm always glad to see him. If he's in Tennessee chances are so is Brooke. I found her pretty quick. She wanted to stay with the kids so I did too. Cuz I mean if you had the choice between a movie you ain't real interested in or spending an hour or so with a friend you haven't seen in months what would you have chosen? We stayed with the kids where we played volley ball. However it was on our knees on carpet. So it's safe to say all of us now have pink knees from rug burn.

Thor

 Warning spoiler alert!

To start with I must say Thor was AWESOME!!!! Anyway me being me I must say some (Three) of the guys are cute. But let's get to the movie. The plot was awesome, graphics were great. In the whole movie I can think of only two things wrong during the battles the camera moved way to fast and the battles were way to short. Other than that I can't think of a thing wrong with the movie. The actors were amazing, they didn't just play the parts they became the parts.

Chris Hemsworth did a great job with Thor. He was amazing and one of those guys I mentioned earlier. Thor is the firstborn son of Odin. He grew up with his brother Loki. All through his life he was an arrogant, battle hungry and immature child until the day he was banished to earth.

Tom Hiddleston is as well one of the guys. He is Loki, Thor's brother. Loki isn't actually Thor's brother. He was found by Odin, Thor's father after the defeat of the frost giants so in reality Loki is a frost giant however he's the size of a normal Asgard civilian however he grew up a prince.

Natalie Portman has the part of Jane Foster. (sorry about the picture not being of her in character like the others) Jane is a scientist who meets Thor when he is sent to earth. As Jane helps Thor get his power back and return to his home they fall in love.

Now there's just one more person I want to tell you about. His name is Fandral. He is a member of The Warriors Three, which also consisted of the Asgardians, Hogun and Volstagg. He's a very good swordsman. That's one of the reasons I like him. Sure he's got an ego but he's funny and the last of the three guys I mentioned at the start. One little thing about him is I could tell when he went into battle at the beginning of the movie along with Thor, Loki, Sif, Hogun and Volstagg I could tell something was gonna happen to him. Guess what? He got stabbed and amazingly was back on his feet later that day. Now for the last thing, quotes. Gotta love 'em. Here's some of the best.


Agent Phil Coulson: [interrogative] It's not easy to do what you did. You made my men - some of the most highly trained professionals in the world - look like a bunch of minimum-wage mall cops. In my experience, it takes someone who's received similar training to do what you did to them. Why don't you tell me where you received that training? Afghanistan, Chechnya? Loki: I am now ruler of Asgard. I am... your king. 

Thor: [taking coffee for the first time] This drink... I like it! More!
[smashes the cup]
Darcy: This is going on Facebook!

Thor: How dare you threaten the son of Odin with such a puny weapon!
Darcy: [Darcy tasers him]
Darcy: [to Jane] What? He was freaking me out! 

Fandral: [to Volstagg] Our dear friend is banished to Earth! Loki sits on the throne of Asgard as our King! And all you have done is eat a whole pheasant and consume two gallons of ale! Shame on you!

Thor: Who was it that proved that a mere maiden could be one of the mightiest warriors of Asgard?
Sif: [indignant] I did!
Thor: True, but I supported you, Sif. 

Over all the movie on a 1-10 scale scores 100.

Who knows what

Today's not the normal day. Not just because it's mothers day but also because after church there was a fire. Luckily there were people still there to call the fire department. I'll get pics up later. Yesterday was AWESOME! I got to see Thor!!!! Yea I'm gonna do another post about that. Wow I expected that to be a lot longer of a post but oh well my next one will be longer.
